In an emergency, please call Adelaide Dental on 8231 1124 (office hours) or click here. We can provide immediate advice and in most cases, we can arrange see you straight away. Tooth pain can be severe and unbearable, so we recommend treatment as soon as possible as pain can worsen or lead to larger issues.

Some tips to help with your dental emergency are:

  • Avoid the area as much as possible (eg. don’t chew on the sore area)
  • Avoid exposing area to excessively hot or cold food or drink
  • Take oral pain relief as recommended on the packet
  • In the case of facial swelling an ice pack can help (20 minutes on and 10 minutes off)
